New School Dismissal Time: 3:15 and Tardy Policy
Due to Senate Bill 1481, which requires 40 minutes of recess per day, we need to change dismissal to 3:15. Gates will be unlocked at 3:15.
Also, according to Oklahoma Statute Title 79, Section 10-105, attendance and promptness are important. School starts promptly at 8 am. If your child is not in class by 8:05, they will be counted tardy. Three tardies will equal an absence.
If your child leaves three times before 3:15, it will count as an absence.
Tardies or leaving early will be excused with a note from a doctor or dentist.
